Charity & Sponsors

The Amwell Rotary Satellite Group has though cycling events raised over £11,000 for a number of good causes. Beneficiaries have included the Isabel Hospice, the Playbarn Project, local schools and sports clubs. We provided a bursary for an up and coming Dimension Data rider to help him pay for medical treatment through the Qhubeka cycling charity in South Africa. Your involvement as a rider and your entry fee is supporting a rider that could be a future star of the Tour de France. We are always looking for new members to take part in our events and those that want to get involved in giving back to local and international communities through sports.

In 2017 we hope to raise even more. All profits from the event will be split between the Isabel Hospice and other Rotary supported charities and good causes. We hope that you will join us for a ride out and help us to continue our good work!

The event is proudly sponsored by Wood Bros of Ware. Wood Bros is a family business that has been creating and making stylish quality furniture for over 90 years.
